Villager tortured in Panchari
A JUMMA villager was reportedly tortured by army in Panchari under
Khagrachari district.
The incident took place on Monday, 29 November. The victim has been
identified as Sanjeeb Tripura, 25, of village Moratila.
According to sources, on that day at 10am a group of army from
Panchari zone raided the village and asked Sajeeb whether he had seen
any terrorist in his area. When he answered in the negative, the
soldiers beat him with sticks.
